Congratulations, Margo!!

Margo Harvey, Ruffled Rosette Pillow

Congratulations to the May Moda Bake Shop Contest Winner, Margo Harvey!!! Her version of Megan Pyrah’s Ruffled Rosette Pillow sure tickled your fancy.
Margo lives in Botetourt County, Virginia and blogs over at Lime & Lace. Be sure to stop by; her stories are fantastic. She and her husband are chicken fanatics (yes, you read that correctly!). They have more than 50 chickens and love them like children. Her favorite are Mr. and Mrs. Squishy. The picture above is of Margo with Mr. Squishy.
Margo loves quick projects and finds that pre-cuts save a ton of time by eliminating all that pesky cutting and measuring. Margo mostly sews lap quilts but sprinkles in the occasional place mat or table runner too.
Believe it or not, Margo has only been sewing for two years. She watched her mom sew while growing up, but never really picked up the craft. Then one day Margo decided to make a quilt block for fun and one thing led to another… Margo has really enjoyed being able to bond with her mom over quilting.
Margo admits she is all over the place when it comes to fabric. She loves classic florals, bright moderns, and everything in between. Margo repeatedly finds prints by Joanna Figeroa of Fig Tree & Co. hopping in her shopping basket and she is *super* excited about the July release of Summer House by Lily Ashbury.

Congratulations, Margo!! An assortment of pre-cut goodies is heading your way :)
Thank you to everyone who participated in the March, April, and May Moda Bake Shop contests.
