Flashback Friday: Sweet Miss Scarlet

Merry Christmas, Bake Shop readers! With today’s Quilt for the Season, take simple patchwork and slice it into something new with Chef Jera Brandvig’s Home Sweet Home quilt.

This quilt starts with charm squares sewn up in scrappy 9-patches. A few diagonal cuts with the rotary cutter and you will have blocks that look like you spent hours piecing them.

Fabric shown is Minick and Simpson’s upcoming line Miss Scarlet which will be available in stores March 2016.

See the original recipe {here} to make your own Home Sweet Home quilt.

Merrily Sewing,

OK, I give up. When I click on “here” for the original pattern I am taken to Four Square by Polly Monica. What gives? The 2 quilts are totally different.

  2. Looks like the wrong link was put in accidentally. No big deal… It is after all Christmas, and we’re all in human with a million things to do. Here’s the link for Home Sweet Home. Merry Christmas!
