Spring has arrived in our part of the world. It may be the first of April but we are not foolin’ around here at the Moda Bake Shop! Today could be your lucky day to win a fun fabric prize.     Uswd the pattern ‘Equally Fancy’ recently using the Fancy collection (just as pictured in the pattern). my sister loves it! Would like to have ‘Valley’ – it looks like I could use it for a quilt I want to make for my brother. I think it could easily work for a masculine quilt.

    I just finished a Memory Quilt for a friend, using her husband’s shirts. Her husband passed away suddenly.. It was my way of giving her a daily hug of love. I used the On The Fence pattern by Lunden Designs. Wonderful pattern. I am now working on a Double Square Star by MSQC.

    Right now I am working on a couple of t-shirt quilts for some graduating seniors. I would love to make just one quilt for my hubby and I think he’d love the Baja Breeze fabrics. I think it would remind him of the beautiful sunrises from when he used to walk to work while living on a small island in the Bahamas. Or Little Miss Sunshine….. I LOVE them both!

    I would like Southern Exposure by Laundry Basket as I have a pattern all picked out but need the Laundry Basket Jelly rolls to make it.

These are all underway, but that doesn’t mean I don’t need more fabric! 🙂 Valley and Coral Queen of the Sea are two lines I’d love to work with.
