Hi Susie, <br />I hope you read this because I don&#39;t see your email address. I used 12 different fabrics, but the beauty of quilt making is that you can do whatever you want! You could easily use two of the same fabrics if you want, especially if ou really like the fabric :) I hope this helps and I can&#39;t wait to see your creation!

Hey Jamie, Just a quick question about the 12-2 1/2&quot; strips (because i am not using a jelly roll) did you use 12 different fabrics for your quilt? Or could someone use 2 strips of the same fabric? Thanks for your help.

Hi VO,<br />My ruffle foot was set on six! I recommend playing with yours first and see which setting you like the best, just use some scrap fabric!! Hope this helps!

I just found this and can&#39;t wait to get started. How did you set the ruffler? My Bernina ruffler has notches for fullness at 1, 6, or 12. It also has an adjustment screw. Any advice would be great! Darling quilt...

Hi Janet,<br />I serged the edges of the ruffles, if you don&#39;t have a serger just use a small zigzag stitch along the edges!! Hope this helps :)

I love ruffles! I use them to make monograms on pillows... works best for letters with straight lines though. lol.
