I really wish I had started this tradition during our first Thanksgiving as a married couple... we're a military family and I think it would be such a treasure to look back and see all of the members of our "military family" we spent holidays with

My mom did this with a tablecloth for her dining room. She would embroider over the names and dates before she washed it.

Remind people to date their signatures. It is priceless to me now when I look at my great-grandparents' signatures from their visit to our house when I was just 5! A lot of memories on that tablecloth.

Hi Jodi,

I started doing this when my granddaughter was born. It is now 13 years old and the signatures, poems, pictures and hand prints are something to share and smile at whenever THE CLOTH comes out.
