I purchased the alphabet panel & found the Charm Squares on eBay. Now that I am looking at the letters, I find that, even cutting on the inside line, each letter is approximately 5" square...the same size as the Charm Squares. Are the letters on the panel smaller?

Grateful for any suggestions...

never did find the Love U charm pack. I ended up using yardage for one (a girly one) and Lollipop charm pack (also Moda) for a more gender neutral one.
I also had trouble finding a binder clip - so I used ribbon and button holes (figured it would be softer anyway)
They turned out great and made great gifts - thanks for the tutorial!

I made the ABC book for my granddaughter. I did buy the wrong panel at first. I'm going to design a quilt around the ABC book panel and another one around the center of the panel. This is such delightful fabric, I think I need to order some fat quarters too.

Okay, I just looked this up for anyone else wondering. On the panel that is only alphabet, the blocks are 6" square, and on the panel with the alphabet and the center panel, the alphabet blocks are 4.5" square, so that is the only one that will work if you want to use the charm packs for the backings.
