Carol, I am very sorry for the confusion. The sashes are 2.5" wide, and are cut from a long, continuous strip made by joining 2.5" wide jelly roll pieces. In my pattern, where I have written cut 2 x 74.5" strips, it should say cut two 74.5" strips.

Is it correct that the borders are cut 2&quot; wide? That seems to be unnecessary? 10.5&quot; across would be 6&quot; for block and 2.5&quot; for each sash.<br />??????????????????????
