Deck the Halls

Today’s Christmas wish list comes from Chef Amanda Castor of {Material Girl Quilts}. Be sure to check out her beautiful Moda Bake Shop recipes {here}.

I’m dreaming of a fat quarter bundle of {Gardenvale by Jen Kingwell}. I really MUST get this when it comes out!!!

Gardenvale will be available in stores in April 2015.

{Aloha Girl by Fig Tree and Co.} layer cake. This is such a soft and summery collection!

Aloha Girl will be available in stores in March 2015.

I would love a {Superior thread cone holder} to go along with a cone of {Aurifil 2021 50 wt}, perfect for piecing on my Bernina.

What quilter doesn’t want {Aurifil’s Simplify by Camille Roskelley thread set}?! The colors are gorgeous and perfect for all of my favorite Bonnie and Camille fabric collections.

And if it isn’t too much to ask for, how about an entire bolt of {Grunge in Snow White}? It’s my favorite to use for backgrounds because it adds so much texture and depth! It will pair nicely with my bolt of Grunge in Picnic…my second favorite background!

Such a fun list to make!

Deck the Halls,

A Merry Little Christmas

Chef Karen Miller is dreaming of a Best of Morris Christmas! Visit her blog at {Redbird Quilt Co.} and see her recipes {here}.

Using a fat quarter bundle of {Best of Morris by Barbara Brackman} to surround yardage of the Strawberry Thief in Sage or Black with lots of the Red/Rose Sage and Natural Colorways of the Best of Morris… a few yards of each with a hint of spiced eggnog would make my heart sing!! Need a list ? Ha Ha Ha….

Best of Morris will be available in stores in February 2015.

Oh and my favorite serrated edge {5″ E6 Elan embroidery scissors} to fussy cut those pretty birds.

And the greatest FMQ tool around: {Supreme Free Motion Slider}

I’d also love a set of the best Sewline gadgets available, all in a pretty {Sewline Gift Set} and case.
Sewline Gift Set With Case SGS Sewline

There’s my dream Christmas…. I wouldn’t turn away a bolt of Primitive Gatherings Muslin either 😉

Having a Merry Christmas,

A Holly Jolly Christmas

A fat quarter bundle of {Color Theory by V and Co.} Love working with Vanessa’s rainbow’s and have made a quilt with each of her lines so far!!!

A fat eighth bundle of {Ambleside by Brenda Riddle} would be perfect to make a quilt for my Grandmother’s 85th birthday next year. She would love those prints!!!

I love the Americana vibe of {Feed Company by Sweetwater}. I would use it to make a quilt for a special military friend.

Feed Company will be available in stores in March 2015

A fat quarter bundle of {Countdown to Christmas by Sweetwater} – Not that you can get that anymore, but it is my all-time favorite Christmas line 🙂

{Charm Packs, Charm Packs, and Charm Packs} Doesn’t matter what line, I just love having charm packs, they are perfect for quick projects and I love seeing them stacked on a shelf!!

If you’re also in love with charm packs, see Moda Bake Shop charm pack recipes {here}

And a bolt of {Bella Solids White} so that I have background fabric for all the above quilts 😉

So what do you say Santa . . . Have I been a good girl this year??

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas,

Visions of Sugar Plums

Oda May here with my Christmas wish list. There’s a balance of wants and needs with some fabric sprinkled on top.

{Sanibel by Gina Martin}  This cheerful and colorful line has me ready for summer. The cold weather is nice around Christmas but come January once the tree and decorations come down, I’ll be ready for sunshine.

{Bella Solids Junior Jelly Rolls®} With 20 strips instead of the 42 in a typical jelly roll, this smaller size is perfect for mixing and matching. I chose three of my favorite Bella Solids colors: 9900JJR 27 | 30s Pink, 9900JJR 85 | Robin’s Egg, and 9900JJR 24 | Yellow.

{Stella Desk Light White} are perfect to brighten your workspace for nighttime sewing. It’s also small enough to pack up for quilt retreat.

{Sullivan’s quilt basting spray} is my favorite way to baste when working on mini quilts. No thread, no safety pins, no need to clear the living room floor.

{Supreme Free Motion Slider} is another favorite item. I just can’t quilt without one of these. It helps me slide my quilt around smoothly and free motion like a pro.

I’ve been good this year, Santa!

With visions of Sugar Plums,
